IN THE FACTORY …
Here are some pictures of contemporary homes being built in the factory. Notice the special insulation and solid wood construction. These homes are built with 2×6 exterior walls, 16” on center and 2×4 interior walls that matches or exceeds CA building codes.
Popular door styles shown here include glass transoms over the door to give a standard door a taller look and let more light into the hall or interior space.
Popular door styles include ribbed glass doors or shaker style single panel doors. The cabinetry is often shaker style to match and Metro (Italian modern) comes in several colors that can be used around the home.
These homes are being produced from a custom floor plan, with the home owner’s specific desires in mind…utilizing the factory-wise abilities of our New Spirit Homes design team.
Typical contemporary designs include shed or butterfly style rooflines with extra tall side walls, as well as minimal slope pop-outs to maximize space and give the home more curb appeal.
Because of this, contemporary designs bring quite a bit higher resale value in the market place.
Popular floor plans include open concept great rooms with chef’s kitchens and extra large islands with wrap around bars. Two to three bedrooms and baths are the norm along with master retreats and office space. Master suites usually include popular walk-in “bedroom sized” closets. Baths often have soaking tubs with a view window, and glass enclosed showers.
